MISSION
The Greater Hampton Roads Black Chamber of Commerce (GHRBCC) is dedicated to economically empowering and sustaining the Black business community in Hampton Roads through entrepreneurship, advocacy, education, capitalistic activity, and benefit solutions for its members.
VISION
- To increase business development and growth via procurement, capital access and regional trade for the Black-owned businesses in Greater Hampton Roads
- To provide entities and resources to fund and guide business diversity in Greater Hampton Roads
- Educate and train on business development and our purpose to benefit the Black businesses in Greater Hampton Roads
- Provide technical support to GHRBCC members
- To increase access to local, state and federal government contracts, assist with business certifications, aid in small business development, and facilitate referrals amongst our GHRBCC members and the outside business community
The GHRBCC was established in May 2007 and is a non-profit, nonpartisan, nonsectarian organization. The service area consists of the cities of Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Portsmouth, Chesapeake, Suffolk, Hampton, Newport News, Williamsburg, and outlying rural counties.
